Job Description:  Management of the relational databases used to input/maintain all the maintenance instructions, tasks, equipment, etc., of repairs and provisions for parts of aircraft, engines, etc.  These relational databases have to be updated each time a new change to a part or aircraft occurs and fielded to the aircraft (at MCAS Cherry Point).  The database can also be manipulated to produce numerous reports that are then used to provide lists of equipment needed to purchase, stock, complete a task, etc. Two or three government software packages for this, including SLICKWAVE, Powerlog J, and EAGLE.

Skills Required: Training can be provided but a basic understanding of databases and how changes in one table affect others and ripples through the system as a whole is necessary.
