Affected by floods? Here's some support.

For all students whose living arrangements have been affected by flooding, be sure to complete the following 2 steps:

  1. Please maintain communication via email with your faculty members.
  2. Please email gradbus@ecu.edu in order for us to have an understanding of your situation so that we can also communicate with faculty.

DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER for ECU students and employees

FROM: Virginia D. Hardy, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs & Lynn Roeder, Dean of Students

As we continue to deal with the aftermath of severe flooding in parts of the Greenville community, and other areas throughout North Carolina, ECU will open a Disaster Recovery Center to aid affected students and employees.

Under the leadership of Dr. Lynn Roeder, the Recovery Center will open Tuesday, October 18 from 10:00am – 7:00pm in the Willis Building for ECU students and employees. Operations will continue through Friday, October 21 at which time it will then be determined if the center needs to operate the week of October 24.

The departments and offices that will be represented in the Recovery Center include:

  • Campus Living/Off Campus Student Services
  • Center for Counseling and Student Development
  • Dean of Students Office
  • Dowdy Student Store
  • ECU Police Department
  • Financial Aid Office
  • Cashier’s Office
  • Parking & Transportation Services
  • Red Cross
  • Student Health Services

Students will also receive assistance in completing online forms for FEMA.
