Reminders for Spring 2017 from the Grad School

Mark your calendar for the Graduate Student FUN DAY at the Student Recreation Center (SRC) on main campus – January 14^th – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Bring your families and invite your professors to join you! It’s FREE – Swim, use the climbing wall, take a tour of the SRC, play games, enjoy food, and make sure to check out the Bounce House! The ECU Scholarship portal is open and accepting applications for many 2017-2018 scholarships. https://ecu.academicworks.com/ Please go into the system and review the opportunities that available to you – there are opportunities for Graduate Students! If you have a grandparent or parent who is a faculty member at ECU (or is now a retired faculty member), please look for the Retired Faculty Fellowship for Graduate Students, for example.

The last day to add or drop classes from your schedule is January 13 at 5:00 PM EST.
All of your classes on your schedule must be accurate Jan 13 at 5:00 PM EST – check the course name, number, section, and # of credits. This accuracy is YOUR responsibility.
Schedules cancelled January 18 if not paid by 5:00 PM EST. Reinstating the schedule may not be possible. Contact the Cashier if you have questions about paying on time.
Plan now if you are submitting a thesis or dissertation for a Spring 2017 graduation! The LAST day to submit a thesis or dissertation to the Graduate School for a Spring 2017 graduation is April 20 at 5:00 PM EST. Plan your defense at least 2-3 weeks prior to this date so you have time to make changes.
