Job Description: Financial Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  1. Lead annual material and overhead standard cost generation
  2. Generation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecast
  3. Responsible for inventory and cost management activities
  4. Partner with Operations to develop and track operational performance
  5. Document and develop processes to streamline activities
  6. Responsible for OCOGS, revenue, and variance analysis
  7. Performs processes involving establishment of standard costs of new products; review and analyze standard costs for existing products
  8. Develop, prepare, and distribute reporting tools to enhance business partnering
  9. Performs reporting activities throughout the month on margins, revenue, absorption, MUV, PPV, and other metrics to ensure timing and accuracy of standard cost
  10. Ensures the integrity and accuracy of general ledger accounting

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 0 to 3 years professional accounting experience in Manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Deep Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MSA
  • CPA, CMA
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (PowerPivot, VBA)
  • Familiarity with SAP
