Important Info | Academic Probation & Program Termination
Summer 1 grades must be posted by Friday at 8am. Monday morning, the Graduate Programs Office will review all Summer 1 grades to determine what students should be placed on probation due to their program GPA dropping below a 3.0, removed from probation because their program GPA is now at a 3.0 or greater, continue on their probationary status, or have their program terminated.
For students currently in good academic standing but Summer 1 grades result in you being placed on academic probation, Summer 2 classes will count in your probationary hours. For students currently on probation who will be coming off probation due to Summer 1 grades, your academic status will be reported to the Graduate School on Monday. Note that it can take 2-3 business days for all records to be updated by the Graduate School.
Students who will be dismissed from the program due to program termination will have an effective date of 6/21/2017 recorded so that a full refund can be issued if registered for Summer 2 classes. Your Summer 2 and Fall schedules will be dropped for you by your advisor.
