East Carolina University’s Small Business & Development Center (SBTDC) and UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan Institute are collaborating this year on a PAID internship opportunity for this Fall Semester open to ECU MBA students.  Access to resources at both UNC Chapel Hill and ECU campuses is an added benefit to this internship. Apply by 9/23.

This MBA intern will be paid $20/hour for a maximum of 100 hours during the spring semester.  If the chosen intern is also interested in course credit as an elective, the student must complete an additional 50 hours over the fall semester and pay tuition and fees associated with this elective.

Benefits of this internship:

  • Gain a competitive advantage by building your resume
  • Enhance your communication skills, teamwork, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Discover your strengths and weakness
  • Make important industry contacts
  • Positive impact on the Eastern North Carolina economy

The selection process is competitive and will be based on interview, performance, technical experience, customer service skills and 2 years of work experience.

An effort will be made to match the intern’s interest, experience and expertise with the appropriate internship opportunity.  The deadline for applying is September 23rd.  Please send your resume or any questions to Ariana Billingsley, Regional Center Director, SBTDC at billingsleya@ecu.edu
