Spring Elective for Development and Environmental Planning Certificate

There will be three Planning graduate level courses in Spring 2018:

  • PLAN6065-Growth Management
  • PLAN6075-Transportation Planning and Policy
  • GEOG/PLAN6250-Advanced Environmental Impact Analysis.

All of them can be counted towards the certificate. MBA students not enrolled in the certificate cannot use these courses as elective credits.  The Development and Environmental Planning Certificate requires 12 s.h.

About the Certificate

The development and environmental planning certificate provides students with abilities to recognize natural and regulatory limitations on land development, analyze the impacts of land development on the natural environment, and apply land development techniques that minimize environmental degradation and promote environmental sustainability. The certificate can be completed as a certificate option under the MBA degree program and is open to all students admitted to the graduate school for a certificate or degree program. A certificate of completion is issued by the Department of Geography, Planning, and Environment.
