Business Analytics Case Competition
The Tippie College of Business at The University of Iowa is thrilled to once again be hosting our Business Analytics Case Competition on April 19-20, 2018. Registration is now open!
Teams will consist of four (4) graduate students, with at least two (2) members currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program.
The competition will consist of a preliminary and a final round and in each round, teams will have time to present their recommendations and receive questions from a panel of judges. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third places. Trophies will be presented for Honorable Mention and Best Speaker. The case will be distributed two weeks prior to the competition.
Teams will be housed at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in downtown Iowa City. The University of Iowa will cover the cost of two (2) rooms per team for two (2) nights. If a team requires a third hotel room, that cost will be the responsibility of the team. Room reservations for teams will be made by the Iowa MBA staff and necessary information will be collected upon registration (or at a later date if not all team members are known now). Please note that while advisors are welcome to attend the competition with their team, they will be responsible for their own lodging.

You will be asked to identify one person as the team contact upon registration (this can be an advisor in the program) and this person will receive all necessary information from our team leading up to the competition. You do not need to have all 4 members identified to register.
