Financial Wellness Hub Peer Educators Needed!

If a student is enrolled this summer, they will be able to work at the FWH over the summer. My hope is to hire students now and keep them continuously employed until they graduate. The job pays $10/hour.
ECU Student Involvement and Leadership is currently seeking Financial Wellness Hub Peer Educators.
The purpose of the position is to provide education to the student population of the University with regard to financial literacy. This objective shall be achieved through one-on-one coaching sessions with other students as well as group presentations to students and the community. Information to be provided shall include, but is not be limited to: Budgeting, Student Loans, Credit Cards and Debt Management
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides one-on-one coaching and education to students in the areas of financial wellness.
• Plans, designs, and executes on-campus events.
• Creates and disseminates marketing pieces to promote the Financial Wellness Hub.
• Assists in forming relationships to promote the Financial Wellness Hub.
• Assists in writing updates regarding program achievements.
Other Typical Work Duties:
• Effectively uses excellent listening, observation, reading, verbal, nonverbal, and writing skills.
• Effectively communicates with internal and external constituencies and builds relationships.
• Demonstrates ability to creatively and effectively market the Financial Wellness Hub.
• Demonstrates ability to independently plan and successfully implement events.
• Demonstrates superior time-management and organizational skills. Completes work in a timely manner.
• Completes paperwork accurately. Verifies and correctly enters data.
• Reacts appropriately to interruptions, changing conditions, and a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates professionalism and contributes to a positive work environment.
• Uses independent judgment and takes the initiative to perform tasks independently.
• Respects personal privacy. Maintains the confidentiality of privileged information.
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be available to dedicate 15-20 hours per week, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines. Strong writing and presentation skills. Must be organized and have outstanding interpersonal skills and enjoy working with diverse populations.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Microsoft Office Suite of applications, specifically: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of students, parents/families, and the general public.
