Copeland Fellows

Thanks to a generous commitment from College of Business alumni Mark (pictured above) and Tracy Copeland, our students have an opportunity to add to their leadership knowledge. The Copeland Diversity and Inclusion Fellowship will provide an understanding of diversity and inclusion that will help business students lead with different worldviews.

The Copeland Fellowship is an opportunity for students to stand out!

What’s required to participate?
– Two-year fellowship open to all COB students (including online and graduate students).
– All Fellows will participate in diversity and inclusion-related events for four semesters, with 15 hours each for the first two semesters and 10 hours each for the last two semesters. All activities are subject to the approval of the College’s Diversity and Inclusion Program Coordinator.
– A short, reflection paper is required at the end of each semester that details “a-ha” moments from attended events.
– Fellows required to post experiences and tag the College of Business on appropriate social media platforms.
– During the 2nd year, Fellows will participate (build, schedule, create) in a diversity and inclusion project.

What’s in it for Students?
– Special graduation cords issued at graduation
– Language on your transcript that designates you as a Copeland Diversity and Inclusion Fellow
– Addition of your fellowship experience for a stronger resume
– A scholarship of $500 per semester is available
