Spring 2022 COB Graduate Recognition Ceremony

IF YOU ARE GRADUATING IN SRING OR SUMMER 2022, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

As you are aware, the University Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 9:00 am inside Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. Graduates must complete the RSVP for prior to the April 10 deadline to attend the ceremony. We are thrilled that we will be able to host in-person Graduate Recognition ceremonies for the College of Business. The MBA ceremony will be held in the Main Campus Student Center Ballrooms on Friday, May 6th at 1PM.

Please RSVP ONLINE for the COB ceremony by 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 31st. Tickets are required for the recognition ceremonies. Please note there are separate RSVP forms for the University Ceremony and the COB’s MBA Ceremony.

Each graduate will be allotted 5 tickets (graduate does not need a ticket). Infants and children up to age 3 that can sit on a lap will not need a ticket. Tickets will be available at the Central Ticket Office from April 4 – April 27 between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.  Arrangements will be made for distance education students to receive their tickets.

All participants must wear a cap and gown. Undergraduates wear purple caps and gowns and purple and gold tassels. Graduate students wear black caps and gowns and drab hoods and tassel. Do not wear your hood. Hoods will be collected prior to the ceremony, and you will be hooded on stage. It is unlikely that you will be hooded with the hood you bring. The ceremony will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Detailed information regarding arrival time, parking, etc. will be forthcoming.
