Financial Aid Holds

Soon, the Financial Aid Office will place Exit Interview holds on student records. You will be notified via email by the Financial Aid Office with directions on how to resolve the hold. There are two main reasons why a students would get this hold:

  1. You have student loans and are about to graduate.
  2. You have student loans and dropped below 6 hours this semester.

If you have the Exit Interview hold, please complete the exit counseling found here. This hold will PREVENT COURSE REGISTRATION if not resolved by the start of course registration on March 24th.

To determine if you have the hold on your record, login to PiratePort, click on Student Self Service, and then Student Profile. On the right side of the toolbar, you’ll see “Holds”. If the number beside “Holds” is not 0, please review your holds and resolve prior to March 24th.
