Guest Coaches Karen & Leonard
Karen Rupp and Leonard Mansfield, Assistant Directors for the Arthur School, were nominated by the Student-Athlete Academic Services Staff to serve as guest coaches for the ECU Football Game vs. Marshall. The SAAS Office hosts the guest coaching program to honor professors and employees who do so much to help ECU student athletes’ academic experience. As guest coaches, they were able to tour some of the football facilities in the Ward Building, Minges Coliseum, Murphy Center, and Town Bank Tower. They joined the team walk-through and dinner on Friday and were on the field for kick-off at the beginning of the game. It was a truly unique and exciting experience to get a behind-the-scenes look at the football program.
