Innovation Ambassador Program

The Office of Licensing & Commercialization is looking to recruit 5 Innovation Ambassadors for the Fall and Spring semester. The Innovation Ambassador Program is a 3-hour-per-week paid internship that trains graduate students on the translational interplay between research and commercialization. Ambassadors will be exposed to a variety of research endeavors, learn core principles of the commercialization process, understand the importance of intellectual property, and be given opportunities to network with external business development partners.

Over the past 3 years, Innovation Ambassadors have had the opportunity to perform customer discovery with key opinion leaders, represent ECU at national conferences, participate in pitch competitions, apply for commercialization funding, and advance several early-stage technologies towards licensing.

Interested applicants can apply here. The deadline to apply is Friday, September 13th at 5 pm.
