The deadline to have your name included in the program was Feb 1 for Spring and Feb 15 for Summer. Once these deadlines pass, you are still eligible to graduate and attend the ceremonies, but you won’t be listed in the program.

Infants and children up to age 3 that can sit on a lap will not need a ticket. Tickets will be available for pick up at the Central Ticket Office in the Main Student Center. Dates will be sent in a future email. Students coded as online in the system will have their tickets mailed. If you need extra tickets, please complete the EXTRA TICKET REQUEST FORM. We can’t guarantee, nor will we know, if we will have any extra tickets until after the ticket pick up has ended at the Central Ticket Office, sometime around April 28th.
The ceremonies will be live-streamed, and you will receive that link as we get closer to May.
Cap and Gowns:
All participants must wear a cap and gown. Undergraduates wear purple caps and gowns and purple and gold tassels. Graduate students wear black caps and gowns and drab hoods and tassels (the color name is “drab”). Caps, gowns, and tassels are covered by your student fees. Graduate students are required to purchase the hood ($45.98).
The Spring 2025 Grad Fair will be March 18-19 from 10am-6pm and March 20 from 10am-2pm at Dowdy Student Stores in the Main Campus Student Center.
If you are not in the Greenville area during the semester you can complete a form to place an order for your cap and gown.
You will see a regalia order form button in the middle of the page that will become active as we get further into the semester. Keep checking back on this page.
Accommodations:
Graduating seniors and guests who have personal accommodation needs, please follow these instructions.
Photos:
We utilize a company, Photo Specialties, to take pictures of the graduates. There will be a photo taken shaking hands with the Dean, and after you come off the stage. Graduate students will also get a picture taken when hooded. Photo Specialties will send you a proof at no cost. You are under no obligation to purchase pictures. To have the proof sent, we need to give Photo Specialities your name, address, email address, and phone number. If you do not want us to share that information, you can opt out when you RSVP for the ceremonies.
Details:
The ceremonies will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes or less. Detailed information regarding arrival time, parking, etc. will be forthcoming.
Please contact Karen Kus at kusk@ecu.edu if you have any questions.
Congratulations and enjoy the home stretch!
