GOLD Graduate Scholarship

This merit-based scholarship is awarded prior to students beginning their MBA or MSA program.  The award is typically $3,000 (online) or $4,000 (on campus) and is distributed per semester for four semesters for online students and up to three semesters for on-campus students — up to a total of $12,000.  Students are only eligible to apply for this for the term in which he/she begins the MBA or MSA program. Summer admits apply for fall consideration.

Gold Graduate Scholarship applications require:
– Completed online scholarship application (application includes an original essay of no more than 250 words, explaining why the student deserves the scholarship.
– A current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the ECU Financial Aid Office (US students only) for the semester in which you are applying for the scholarship ** this must be completed one week prior to the application deadline**!
– Three letters of recommendation from employers, faculty members, or academic advisors.  The reference letters must all be pdf attachments sent in one email to cobgradscholarships@ecu.edu or mailed in one envelope to:

PURPLE Graduate Scholarship


This financial-need scholarship is awarded each semester to full-time, part-time, online, on campus, new, or current students
.  Part-time students must be registered for at least 6 semester hours in their program to be eligible for this scholarship.  The award is for one semester and can range in award amounts depending on full-time/part-time, level of need, and campus/online registration.

Purple Graduate Scholarship applications require:
– Completed online scholarship application (application includes an original essay of no more than 250 words, explaining why the student deserves the scholarship.
– A current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the ECU Financial Aid Office (US students only) for the semester in which you are applying for the scholarship ** this must be completed one week prior to the application deadline**!
