Job Title: Analyst, Material Planning
Location: North Carolina – Apex

Develops and monitors schedules for products and commodities to meet external and internal customer demand. Evaluates and analyzes data regarding processes and systems. Resolves problems with inventory, production schedules, or materials shortages and recommends procedures to avoid future problems. Establishes a balance between vendors and customers based on supply and demand for materials and finished goods. Forecasts requirements, and issues periodic reports on trends.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline. Plus working knowledge of other related fields.
- Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems. Uses judgment within defined policies and practices.
- Works under limited direction. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.
- Contributes to the development of organization’s goals and objectives. Failure to obtain results or erroneous judgments or recommendations would normally have serious results and may require substantial expenditure of resources to correct and/or achieve.
- Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role.
SKILLS
- Time management skills.
- Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions.
- Microsoft Office applications – Strong Excel skills
- Problem solving skills.
