FT Financial Controller | Wake Forest

Primary Duties:
 Maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting
systems
 Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
 Prepare financial reports, budgets, costs reports and financial forecasts on a regular basis
 Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors
 Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
 Comply with federal, state, local and international legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation;
anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising
management on needed actions
 Perform in‐depth financial analysis and provide financial perspective and opinions to senior management
 Responsible for ensuring all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented
 Perform cash managements functions and oversee A/R, A/P, cash disbursements, payroll and reconciliations
 Responsible for all the company’s banking activities in the US and foreign countries
 Manage outside sources used for the tax preparation, both US and foreign countries
 Accountable for any financial decisions made in the firm because he is the ultimate authorizing entity
 Complete operational requirements by scheduling, assigning, and monitoring employees; following up on work
results; recruit, hire, train, counsel, discipline employees
 Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
 Correspond with senior management regarding any financial decisions that are made
 Travel internationally as a representative of the company when necessary

Qualification Required/Desired:
 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business with a Finance concentration required, Master’s Degree Preferred
 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, experience in Access is desirable
 Minimum of 10 years of previous financial experience
 CPA license or experience in public accounting is desirable
 Understanding of US GAAP and International Accounting principles, as well as international and domestic tax
codes and laws
 Excellent prioritization, analytical, organizational, communication (verbal and written) and management skills
