Fall Alternative Break Experience: Hurricane Relief and Recovery

Don’t have anything planned for fall break? Wanting to volunteer after Hurricane Florence? Don’t know how to start?

Apply today for the for the Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement trip:  CLCE Fall Alternative Break Experience: Hurricane Relief and Recovery.

Students will travel to Little Washington, North Carolina from October 6-8th and spend the weekend assisting shelters and businesses that have been affected by flooding and storm damage. Volunteers will assist with mud-outs, debris clean up, and will learn about the importance of recovery through service in Eastern North Carolina towns.

The cost of the trip is $50 and covers meal costs, transportation, and lodging.
