GAs Needed in Graduate School
The Graduate School is seeking full-time enrolled, Greenville, NC based graduate students for assistantship positions to support recruiting efforts in graduate programs across campus.
Responsibilities include attending/hosting campus events such as campus tours, application assistance workshops, and recruiting fairs. Strong skills in preparing and delivering oral presentations are required. Other responsibilities include mastering the university admissions software Radius to establish and maintain contact with prospective students through text, email, phone calls, web chats, and online webinars. This position requires strong relationship-building skills along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Expectations include punctuality, a commitment to providing consistent support to prospective students and applicants, and a willingness to partner with programs across campus to assist in recruiting efforts. Experience with Microsoft office products is required including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This position will also require collection and analysis of data of all recruiting activities for strategic planning with the Graduate School leadership.
The assistantship is for 20 hours per week and will require some evening and weekend duties. Start date can be as early as September 3rd and ends December 22, 2019 with the possibility of being continued through Spring 2020.
