Still need to drop a class this semester?
Students can still withdraw from a class even though the drop date is passed. If you are currently passing the course, you can still get a W. However, if you are failing, you will have an F.
Check with professor to see what your grade is. If it’s passing (C or better), then send the drop request. However, you are encouraged to reconsider dropping the course if you have a B or better, unless you must have an A to remain in good academic standing.
In order to drop a class, you will need to email dedrops@ecu.edu. Please also copy your advisor in the email. You will need to include your name, Banner ID, and CRN of the course you are dropping.
Prior to dropping the class, you are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid Office to determine any potential impacts on financial aid (if applicable).
