Over $200K for ECU COB Students | Apply by Jan 15
Each year, the College of Business awards more than 125 scholarships valued at more than $200,000 thanks to donations of generous alumni, faculty, and friends of the College. Scholarships range in value from $250 for one year to a fully funded MSA degree program, including tuition and fees (valued at approximately $13,000).
It’s Easy!
Applying for scholarships is easy! Students complete one online application, and then he or she is considered for any scholarship for which he meets the eligibility criteria. Each scholarship has its own unique eligibility requirements that are established by the donor. A wide variety of scholarships are offered, and funding is available for most any set of circumstances.

On-line applications will be accepted between November 1, 2016 – January 15, 2017. No paper applications will be accepted. Scholarships are available for both undergraduate and graduate students. To get started, visit ECUAWard at http://ecu.academicworks.com. Sign in with your Pirate ID and password.
Complete a General Application First…
You first must complete a general application. You can find instructions here: http://www.ecu.edu/cs-acad/universityscholarships/upload/AW-application-directions.pdf. There is also a quick via on the application process located here: http://www.ecu.edu/cs-acad/universityscholarships/ECUAWard-Instructional-Materials.cfm.
The general application will ask you questions about your involvement in campus and community service activities, your future educational plans, career goals, etc. Your permanent mailing address, major, GPA, hours completed, etc. will be imported from Banner, so you will not be required to enter that information.
…Then Start Applying
Once you have completed the general scholarship application, including your electronic signature, you may be prompted to “Start Applying” and shown a list of recommended opportunities that require further review to determine your eligibility. Please take your time and look through this list and, if interested, “apply”.
All applicants who submit a completed application will be notified of their application status via their ECU email account later in the spring semester.
