The MAEd/MBA dual degree combines expertise in adult learning with business and leadership education to prepare professionals for careers in workplace training, organizational development, and talent management. Through integrated coursework in adult education and business administration, students develop the skills to design, lead, and evaluate learning initiatives that support organizational growth and workforce success.

Ideal for educators, trainers, and aspiring leaders, the program prepares graduates to manage adult education and professional development programs across a variety of settings, including corporations, higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and the military. By combining knowledge of how adults learn with strong business and management foundations, graduates gain a competitive advantage for leadership roles focused on employee development, organizational effectiveness, and strategic change.

The Brody School of Medicine (BSOM) and the College of Business jointly offer the MD/MBA dual degree, designed for individuals seeking to combine medical expertise with advanced business and leadership skills. The program prepares physicians to address the financial, operational, and strategic challenges facing today’s healthcare organizations while expanding their ability to lead teams and drive innovation.

BSOM students may pursue the MBA through the school’s cooperative educational experience option, typically between their second and third years of medical school. The MD/MBA program is also open to students enrolled in other accredited medical schools, medical residents, and practicing physicians.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the MD/MBA can be completed in as little as one year by full-time medical students and residents. Practicing physicians and residents pursuing the degree part-time may begin in any academic term.

The MSN/MBA dual degree combines advanced nursing education with business and leadership training to prepare healthcare professionals for leadership roles in an increasingly complex healthcare environment. Available to students in the MSN Health Systems Leadership concentration, the program develops expertise in nursing systems, population health, organizational leadership, strategic decision-making, and healthcare operations.

Through integrated coursework from both the Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration programs, students gain the skills to lead interdisciplinary teams, improve healthcare delivery, and drive organizational change. By sharing credit hours between the two degrees, students may reduce the time required to complete both programs.

Offered fully online through two nationally recognized programs, the MSN/MBA provides the flexibility working professionals need to advance their education while continuing their careers. Graduates are uniquely positioned to lead healthcare organizations through both a clinical and business lens, giving them a competitive advantage in management and leadership roles.

The DNP/MBA dual degree combines advanced nursing practice with business and leadership education to prepare nurse leaders for executive roles in healthcare. Designed for post-master’s nurses in the Nursing Leadership option, the program develops expertise in evidence-based practice, strategic decision-making, healthcare operations, and organizational leadership.

Through integrated coursework from the College of Nursing and the College of Business, students learn to collaborate with healthcare executives and interprofessional teams to improve patient outcomes, lead organizational change, and address complex healthcare challenges. The program includes a minimum of 1,000 post-baccalaureate practice hours as part of a supervised academic experience, ensuring graduates are prepared to translate research into practice and lead system-level improvements.
