RMI students polish professional skills at fall etiquette dinner sponsored by AmWins

The Fall 2025 Risk Management and Insurance Etiquette Dinner, held at Julep Contemporary Kitchen inside the Greenville Hilton, was a tremendous success. Sponsored by AmWins, the evening offered Gamma Iota Sigma members an elegant opportunity to refine their professional presence and dining etiquette.
Festivities began at 5:30 p.m., when students arrived to have professional headshots taken — perfect for LinkedIn and other career platforms. Following their photos, attendees mingled with fellow students and AmWins representatives, building valuable connections in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
At 6:15 p.m., participants enjoyed a delicious multi-course dinner while Dr. Kathryn Carroll, a trained etiquette expert, guided them through the finer points of professional dining. From proper utensil use to engaging conversation tips, Carroll ensured that students left feeling more polished and confident.
Membership in Gamma Iota Sigma made this enriching experience possible at no cost to attendees. Dr. Brenda Wells, director of the RMI program, said, “Thanks to AmWins’ sponsorship, the event blended professionalism, networking and fun — preparing ECU RMI students to dine, network and lead with class.”
