Congratulations, Outstanding Graduate Students!

At the College of Business graduation ceremony on May 6, two graduate students were honored as “outstanding!”

Russell Rhodes, Jr.

2015-16 Outstanding Graduate Business Student

Russell graduated in May 2016 with an MBA. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2009 with a BSBA in Management from Mount Olive College. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa (1989) and Beta Gamma Sigma. Russell completed the MBA as a distance education student and as President and CEO of Neuse Sport Shop, Inc. in Kinston, NC. He will continue to lead that organization with future plans for expansion and is considering taking the LSAT (Law School Admission Test) in 2017.

Yuexian Hong

2015-16 Boldt Outstanding International Graduate Student

Hong graduated in May 2016 with a Master of Business Administration degree. She was President of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association and a graduate assistant in the College of Business. Hong worked in the marketing business for four years in China before she decided to study abroad here in America. She plans to pursue a career in management and consulting.
