The Pirate Entrepreneurship Challenge (PEC) is the Miller School’s signature business pitch competition. It’s open to all entrepreneurship teams that have at least one enrolled ECU student. The three-round challenge begins in October with an open-to-all, tradeshow style set up.
The first round of the 2020-2021 Pirate Challenge will be held virtually October 12th-18th.
Students will submit a 3-5 minute video pitch (deadline to submit video is Oct 11, 11:59pm) for a chance to advance to the semi-finals in January. (Video instructions coming soon)
Twenty teams will advance through popular vote on social media (voting ends Oct 18th, 11:59pm) or through judges selection.
