Pirate Entrepreneurship Challenge

You see opportunities. You have ideas that could make an impact. And, you’re smart enough to know that you can’t do it all by yourself.

Well, then, you are one step closer to becoming an entrepreneur. At the Miller School of Entrepreneurship, we can start you on your entrepreneurial journey with the Pirate Entrepreneurship Challenge.

The Pirate Entrepreneurship Challenge is the Miller School’s signature business pitch competition. It’s open to all entrepreneurship teams that have at least one enrolled ECU student.

This year’s challenge begins Oct. 23rd (moved from Oct 11th) when teams across campus compete in an open-air trade show.  From here, six teams selected by students and six teams selected by ECU judges will move on to the Nov. 15 second round. February (date and time TBD) will be the final round, where the winner will be chosen out of six teams.

The finalists will go on to represent ECU at national competitions.

More than $70,000 in cash and in-kind services will be awarded.
