Edgell Co-Authors Tourism Book

The 3rd edition of Tourism Policy and Planning: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow by David L. Edgell, Sr., School of hospitality Leadership, East Carolina University, USA and Jason R. Swanson, University of Kentucky, USA was recently published.

The wellspring to the future global growth in tourism is a commitment toward good policy and strategic planning. Tourism Policy and Planning: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, offers an introduction to the Tourism policy process and how policies link to the strategic tourism planning function as well as influence planning at the local, national and international level.

This third edition has been fully revised and updated to reflect the many important developments in the travel and tourism industry.
