Miller School Supports Greenville Pitch Competition

On March 27, 2019, Greenville entrepreneurs presented their business ideas in the sixth Greenville Pitch Competition.  Thirty-three presenters competed in an initial three-minute preliminary pitch round. Finalists gave a two-minute presentation to a panel of local entrepreneurs and government officials, including the Miller School of Entrepreneurship’s Dennis Barber, Mike Harris and Corey Pulido.

Shyft Auto took first place and a grand prize of $7,000. Martin Minute Mechanic and Jenni’s Ugly Chocolates took second and third respectively. More than $12,000 was awarded.

The Miller School of Entrepreneurship, along with Uptown Greenville, Pitt County Development Commission and the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce were sponsors of the event.
