Special Events Intern Opportunity!

Job Description – Special Events Intern
  • Oversee indoor events at the venue (including but not limited to weddings, receptions, banquets, non-profit events, holiday parties, etc.)
  • Assist with outdoor concert series
  • Assist in developing and implanting marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns
  • Monitor guest activities and respond to questions, complaints or comments that may arise
  • Examine and maintain the cleanliness of the venue, such as the condition of the bathrooms, prior to and during a function
  • Maintain adequate lighting & heating/air throughout the duration of event
  • Light fire-pit and heaters when necessary
  • Assist in maintaining website and social media accounts including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest
  • Conduct venue tours
  • Conduct client meetings that involve discussing timeline, layout, vendors, etc.
  • Assist in book keeping
*This is a 400 hour internship that may be used for school credit
