Tuten Leads Social Media Training for High School Students

TutenDr. Tracy Tuten, professor of Marketing, recently led social media training for students at Washington High School in Beaufort County, teaching them how to create a positive social media presence – and how their public posts can impact their lives.

“This training is an opportunity to encourage the students to clean up anything that doesn’t reflect their best self and also to use social media as a way to brand themselves to prospective employers and to schools,” Tuten told WNCT.

Bright Futures Beaufort County, in partnership with First South Bank and TriCounty Telecom, set up the assemblies.
