SHL Cooking Segments on WNCT - Channel 9
Emily Passwaters, a producer at WNCT, reached out to the SHL to initiate a cooking segment that would air on the Weekend Morning Edition. She worked with Dr. Jacqui de Chabert Rios, the chef instructor for the School of Hospitality Leadership, and SHL senior Merric Jackson to film the segments.
The series’ vision is to illustrate the step by step procedures taken to create a simple meal in a short time period. The taping of the sessions was conducted in the Golden Corral Culinary Center at the School of Hospitality Leadership.
