Hospitality Alum Opens New Starbucks

Alumnus, Kaitlin Odroneic is the store manager of the NEW Starbucks store going up at Memorial & Whitley, located directly across from Pitt Community College.
This particular store will phase into a “Starbucks Evenings” store 3-6 months after the initial open, which is a new concept for Starbucks that features craft beer, wine, and additional food options after 4 pm.
Starbucks Evenings have already rolled out in larger metropolitan areas such as Seattle, Atlanta, and Chicago and North Carolina is rolling out 20+ stores over the next 18 months. This particular store will be the only Evenings store in a 100 mile radius for the first 18 months.
Kaitlin and crew recently hosted a Family and Friends opening event on February 11th. Kaitlin also hired current SHL students, Jasmine Gunning, Danielle Blais and Jasmine Herring. The new Starbucks opened Friday , February 12th.
