Mai Receives BB&T Grant

bbt_shadedbloc%201x1_0Dr. Shirley Mai, Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management is a recipient of the 2016 BB&T Active Learning and Leadership Development Incentive Grant.  The purpose of this program is to explore the relationship between the use of active learning strategies in class and various leadership abilities incorporated.

Mai will receive $1,000 for her use of the flipped classroom approach to enhance leadership.  She currently teaches MKTG 4682 Marketing Intelligence in a flipped classroom approach which is specifically suited for collaborative active learning.
