SHL Students Produce ECU Event
On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, students enrolled in HMGT4040, Producing Meetings, Events, and Conventions; delivered the Women of Distinction awards ceremony and reception. The course is an in-depth assessment of logistics and production of meetings, events, and conventions. Students worked with members of the Chancellor’s Committee on the Status of Women and the Women of Distinction planning committee during the semester to finalize plans for the event. Ten women in the ECU and Greenville communities were recognized for their research, community engagement, and mentoring activities that have had a significant impact on the local community and beyond. The team of SHL students are pictured below with Dr. Crawford.
