Miller School Pitches in Greenville

The Coastal Plains Advisory Council for the College of Business’ Miller School of Entrepreneurship met at Mayne Pharma Friday, Jan. 26, which provided an opportunity for ECU student entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to Council mentors. Students received personalized mentoring and advice on the next steps for their ventures.

Phil Hodges told his entrepreneurial story of how he founded Metrics, which was later sold to Mayne Pharma. The event concluded with a tour of the company’s new facility. Those in attendance included students, faculty, alumni, entrepreneurs and Mayne Pharma staff. Connally Branch from the Coastal Plains Advisory Council and Andy Herdman from Mayne Pharma helped plan the event.
