SHL Working with International Partners

​The School of Hospitality Leadership’s HMGT 3200 course, taught by Dr. Cynthia Deale, has begun this semester’s Global Live Links with its international partners. HMGT 3200 covers a variety of topics ranging from tourism to typical global understanding concepts of college life, family and cultural traditions, religion and the meaning for life, and stereotypes and prejudices and how each of these topics connects to tourism. Students also develop multicultural awareness and communication skills as part of the course content. SHL students are teamed with their global partners, work on projects and deliver their results via the Global Live Links as part of the Global Understanding Program here at ECU.
