COB Students Take Honors in National Marketing Competition

Recently, graduate advertising and strategy students participated in the nationwide Collegiate ECHO Marketing Challenge sponsored by Fossil. Students were split into teams and were challenged to create an integrated omni-channel marketing campaign to drive Fossil Q Smartwatches sales using all Fossil marketing channels, e.g., website, retail stores, social media platforms and a paid media strategy.  The campaigns were developed to increase awareness, and drive traffic and sales for the target audience of  18- to 35-year olds.

Two COB teams won Honorable Mentions. This competition marked the second year that ECU teams received Honorable Mentions.

Second Place Silver: Honorable Mention for Video Advertisement to Consumers
