SHL Represents at CMAA Conference

The CMAA World Conference and Club Business Expo was recently held in Nashville, Tennessee, Feb. 24-28, 2019, at the Music City Center. Eight School of Hospitality Leadership (SHL) students attended the conference after extensive fundraising efforts. SHL faculty and students also connected with ECU SHL alumni, Alex Hughes, now a manager at the Cherokee Town and Country Club.

Professor and club advisor, Dr. Cynthia Deale, SHL Director, Bob O’Halloran, and eight students attended the conference for professional education, networking and to search for internships and entry-level career positions in club management. The eight students included Amber Clawson, Alysha Gaffney, Danielle Smith, Megan Mulvihill, Nicholas Fair, Claire Parker, Ariel Malone and George Shannon.
