Ask the Hiring Manager THIS ONE QUESTION

Job search strategist Sarah Johnston, founder of the Briefcase Coach, shares her coaching tips when helping students to prepare for an interview. I am asked, “What are some questions I should ask interviewer during or after the interview?”  One question I always suggest they ask is what a typical day looks like in this particular role.  Job descriptions are helpful in understanding some of the duties and responsibilities of a job, but many times it will give broad strokes of the job – an overview without details.  The answer to this question can be very telling and could determine whether or not you think this job would be a good fit for you.  Read more.
