Brandon Becker's Advice: Use HANDSHAKE!
Recently, Brandon Becker, a junior MIS major, visited the COB Career Center office and requested interview coaching in preparation for an upcoming interview for an internship. When we learned that he got the internship, we asked Brandon why he thought he got the internship. It was really simple….he used Handshake!
Brandon shared his thoughts about the internship, “I will be a part of a team of interns that provides IT helpdesk support for Alliance One International. They are the largest global Tobacco manufacturer, located in Farmville, NC. It is a paid internship and works perfectly with my concentration in MIS. I noticed this internship on Handshake and applied — which only took about three minutes! I got a response in just a few days and had an interview in about a week!”
