COB Accounting Students Land Internships at KPMG

The College of Business’ Student Accounting Society (SAS) took 19 accounting students, ranging from sophomores to seniors, to Washington D.C., March 21 – 24. SAS members spent a day at KPMG’s Tysons Corner office, toured the firm’s facilities,  heard from recruiters, and networked with ECU alumni currently working at KPMG.

SAS members also had the opportunity to tour Washington D.C. and attend a Washington Wizards game. According to Dr. Linda Quick, SAS faculty advisor who accompanied the students, “The trip was quite a success, with several SAS members receiving internship offers from KPMG.”

KPMG also has requested to have a group of accounting students to annually visit their Tysons Corner office going forward.

Faculty advisor Rachel Brassine also accompanied the students on their trip.
