SHL Food Prep Garden

ECU’s School of Hospitality Leadership (SHL) provides students a complete understanding of current industry trends likeĀ Farm-To-Table and Sustainable Food Service by maintaining a convenient garden located just behind the Rivers building.

The SHL Food Prep garden allows students a hands-on experience in the garden and supplies a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs from strawberries to lavender! Recently, students in the Advance Food Prep LabĀ harvested lettuce and strawberries to create a delicious summer salad.
