SHL CMAA chapter wins second

The College of Business’ School of Hospitality Leadership Club Management Association of America (CMAA) chapter recently took second place in the New Students Member Recruitment Contest. The SHL chapter won second place because it achieved 131 percent of its membership goal.

With this award, SHL will receive three free registrations to the 2019 National Student Education Conference or the 2020 World Conference on Club Management, with the latter held in Dallas, Texas.

The SHL CMAA chapter had an active chapter this past year. In March, eight chapter members attended the 2019 World Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.  Dr. Cynthia Deale serves as the chapter’s advisor.
