Schultz receives the Zeke Sigler Outstanding Peer Mentor Award
Zeke Sigler was a College of Business (COB) Peer Mentor who excelled at every level in serving his classmates. He served as a mentor from 2014-2016 and graduated with his BSBA in 2015 and MSA in 2016. His kind demeanor and friendship made him the most popular peer mentor among fellow students especially the COB Living-Learning Community (LLC). Zeke was always the first to volunteer, help out, lend a hand, and cheer for others. He made each individual feel like they were the most important person in the room. He achieved more accomplishments during his four years at ECU than most do in a lifetime. Zeke will always hold a special place in the peer mentor program and those who he influenced.
To honor Zeke’s memory, COB’s Center for Student Success annually awards the Zeke Sigler COB Outstanding Peer Mentor Award to the student who excels in all areas of Peer Mentor program and goes above and beyond expectations of the position.
This year’s recipient is Ryan Schultz, who was a part of the COB LLC and served as a Peer Mentor for three years. Ryan completed both his BSBA in Marketing and MBA while serving as a Peer Mentor and Graduate Assistant with Campus Living.
Congratulations, Ryan!
