ECU recognizes Sharon Justice

If you know the COB, you also know the awesomeness of instructor Sharon Justice. Well, all of ECU now knows it. She was recently recognized as a 2019 Incredible ECU Woman by the ECU Women’s Roundtable. The award is presented to women who are ECU alumnae and have attended ECU for a minimum of two semesters. They also must have achieved excellence in at least one of the following ten categories

  • Business/Industry
  • Health Sciences
  • Fine Arts
  • Performing Arts
  • Public Service
  • Media
  • Sports
  • Professional
  • Research

Justice has worked more than 25 years in various industry sectors where she focused on strategically growing businesses while equipping leaders and individuals for success.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and an MBA from East Carolina University. Justice also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources designation from both HR Certification Institute and Society of HR Management.  She holds specialized certifications in several programs, including The Big 5, Change Style Indicator, DiSC, DDI, Influencing Styles, and Emily Post Etiquette trainer.

Sharon joined the faculty of the COB, where she developed and is teaching a Leadership course for junior business majors.  For the past years, she also has coordinated the College’s Networking Dinners and currently represents the College of Business and ECU as part of the NC States Executive Farm Management program.
