Meet Grace Faller: COB's social media coordinator

My name is Grace Faller, and I am a sophomore from Salisbury, North Carolina. I am a student in the College of Business’ School of Hospitality Leadership. My concentration is in convention and event planning.

I grew up visiting Greenville with my dad who is an ECU alumnus. The campus always felt like home to me, and when I was applying to colleges my senior year, ECU was a no brainier. However, I was unsure about what I would major in after arriving at ECU. During the two-day orientation, I attended many meetings regarding the different programs the COB offered. I fell in love with the hospitality management program here.

It felt like it (the program) was the correct fit for me.

I always knew I wanted to work with people and be very hands-on in whatever I chose to do. I got involved in the ECU homecoming parade with the help of ECU SHL alumna Molly Roth. This experience showed me what the world of event planning could potentially look like. Since then I have created many large goals for myself. I completed an independent study with Dr. O’Halloran where I served as the School’s social media coordinator. Currently, I provide social media support for the College of Business and work with Kim Watkins and Michael Rudd.
