SHL welcomes new faculty
We want to take this opportunity to introduce two new SHL faculty.
Michael Fazzini joined us in January 2022 and is an instructor and the lab coordinator for the School. Michael joined us from industry and had held chef positions at multiple restaurants representing eighteen years of restaurant experience in fine dining and high-volume establishments. He holds a culinary A.S. degree from Daytona State College and a B.A.S. degree from the same institution. Most recently, he completed his Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Central Florida’s Rosen School.
Jun Kwon has been teaching part-time for the SHL and will join us as a full-time instructor in August 2022. Kwon received his doctorate from Texas Tech University in Hospitality Administration and holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from UNLV. He also has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hankook University in Korea. Dr. Kwon has significant hospitality industry experience in Texas and Nevada. He is co-author of five refereed journal articles and a dozen refereed conference proceedings. He also has the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) designation.
