SHL Alumni Spotlight - Brett Morgan '12
The ECU School of Hospitality Leadership program gave me the skills to advance quickly in the hospitality industry.
After graduation, I accepted a position with a full-service Holiday Inn as a room sales manager. After two years, I advanced to director of sales and was promoted to assistant general manager shortly after that. I am now enjoying my current position as a general manager of one of the most prominent full-service hotels in Greenville, North Carolina. I enjoy working for a reputable organization that utilizes my exceptional leadership skills and knowledge of operations, sales, and revenue management experience. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 17 years now and enjoy the day-to-day operations and working with my team to accomplish daily goals effectively.
I highly recommend this program to any student looking for a rewarding and exciting career in the hospitality industry.
