Sigma Nu Tau inducts four into entrepreneurship honor society
The ECU Miller School of Entrepreneurship’s chapter of Sigma Nu Tau recently inducted four new students during a ceremony held November 17, 2022, in the Isley Innovation Hub.
Alyssa Smith, Andrew Faldzinski, Landon Stevenson, and Ted Sielatycki were welcomed to the entrepreneurship society by Dr. Dennis Barber, III, chapter faculty advisor and acting director of the Miller School of Entrepreneurship. College of Business Interim Dean Michael Harris attended and offered congratulations to the students.
As part of the ceremonies, Dr. Barber inducted honorary member and COB alumnus, Matt Crisp. Crisp offered words of wisdom, thanks, and guidance via a prerecorded video played at the event. Sigma Nu Tau’s mission is to promote, recognize and reward academic excellence in entrepreneurship. The honor society encourages and acknowledges the practice of principled entrepreneurship, which is maximizing long-term profitability for the business by creating real value in society, while always acting lawfully and with integrity.
